Saraswati Vandana Mantra

Sanskrit:
या कुन्देन्दु तुषार हार धवला, या शुभ्र वस्त्रावृता।
या वीणावरदण्डमण्डितकरा, या श्वेतपद्मासना॥
या ब्रह्माच्युत शंकरप्रभृतिभिः देवैः सदा वन्दिता।
सा मां पातु सरस्वती भगवती, निःशेषजाड्यापहा॥


Transliteration:
Ya Kundendu Tushar Haar Dhavala, Ya Shubhra Vastravrita,
Ya Veena Varadanda Manditakara, Ya Shweta Padmasana.

“I bow to Goddess Saraswati, who is pure white like jasmine, the moon, and snow. She is adorned with white garments, holds a veena, and is seated on a white lotus. Revered by Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, she removes ignorance and blesses us with knowledge.”


Maha Saraswati Mantra
